In 2007, out of 40 questions, 21 questions tested one’s awareness of current issues, while the rest were based on static information.

In 2006, out of 40 questions, 11 questions tested one’s awareness of current issues, while the rest were based on static information.

Observations:

	Business & Economy based questions feature prominently every year. In 2006 it was approximately 42.5% whereas in 2007 and 2008 it has been consistent at 25%.
	The number of questions relating to current affairs has come down in 2008 to 11 from 21 questions in 2007. In 2006 again it was 11 questions on current information.
	Questions are mainly single liners where a test taker has to be aware of single information. Sometimes some information pertaining to a particular personality is also provided in the question stem.
	One who regularly reads newspaper and has consciously prepared for the test would find the SNAP GK solvable.
